50 thousand new patients in a week across the country. Is there any need to panic?

Corona cases have started accelerating once again in the country. After the third wave in January, new cases have started increasing again. In a week, 48,766 new corona cases have been reported across the country, and 70 patients have died. The speed of Corona in the country has once again started to scare. Over three days, more than 8 thousand new cases have been reported daily in the country. Active cases have also reached close to 48 thousand. Delhi, Maharashtra, and Kerala are raising the most concern.

According to the Ministry of Health, 8,084 new cases of Corona have been reported in 24 hours. 10 patients have also died. The positivity rate has also crossed 3 percent. About 70 percent of the new patients that have come up in the country in 24 hours have been found in Maharashtra, Kerala, and Delhi alone.

After the third wave in January, new cases are accelerating once again. According to the data, this week, i.e., from June 6 to 12, 48,766 new cases have been reported across the country, and 70 patients have died. Whereas between the previous week, i.e., May 30 to June 5, 25,586 cases were reported, and 90 patients died. Accordingly, the number of new corona patients found in the country almost doubled in a week. However, the number of deaths has decreased this week compared to last week.
