Amidst the war with Ukraine, Russia gave this good news to India; China-Pakistan's concern will rise

Russia started supplying the first regiment of the S-400 missile system in December last year, while the supply of the second regiment began in April. This missile system has been deployed so that it can cover parts of the border with China in the northern region and the border with Pakistan.

Despite the war with Ukraine, Russia will deliver the air defence missile system S-400 to India on time. Giving this information, Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov said that according to the time fixed by Russia to India, the delivery of S-400 systems is going well.

This statement of the Russian ambassador came at a time when it was being expressed that the supply of military equipment supplied by Russia to India may be delayed due to military action on Ukraine. "The supply of the S-400 system is proceeding well according to schedule," Alipov said. The envoy made the remarks in a preface written in the magazine 'Russia Digest' to mark the 75th year of establishing diplomatic relations between India and Russia. "Today's Russia-India cooperation is one of the most comprehensive in the world," he said.

Earlier in March, Russia had said that Western sanctions against it would not affect the supply of S-400 missile systems to India. After the attack on Ukraine, all western countries, including America, have imposed all kinds of sanctions on Russia. However, despite all the pressure, India is in the role of neutrality in Ukraine and Russia.

In October 2018, India signed a USD 5 billion deal with Russia to buy 5 S-400 air defence missile systems. India had reached this agreement bypassing the threat of imposing sanctions by the Donald Trump administration at that time.
