RAW is one of India's most potent foreign intelligence agencies. It's a covert service gaining prominence after various films and documentaries about RAW have been released in recent years. Following the success of RAW, many young people aspire to be officers in the agency. Still, only a tiny percentage of those who apply are eligible because becoming an officer is a lengthy and challenging process to complete.

What is RAW?

The acronym RAW stands for "Research and Analysis." The wing is India's external intelligence organisation. It was established on September 21, 1968. RAW's mission is to gather intelligence on other countries, particularly India's neighbours, to avert future threats to India, formulate suitable policies, establish international relations, handle international problems through diplomacy, and much more. If a country or a terrorist organization in any way threatens India, RAW is tasked with quietly neutralizing the threat.

They carry out their duties for the country and assist RAW in keeping track of other countries' development and progress in every field India is involved in. Since 1968, RAW has been doing this.
