Israel Warns of Retaliatory Strikes Across the Middle East Following Iranian Attack

Tel Aviv, Israel – Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi has issued a strong warning about Israel's readiness for a retaliatory strike on Iran, emphasizing the nation's capability to hit "any target in the Middle East." His statement comes amidst escalating tensions following missile strikes from Iran.

During a visit to Tel Nof Air Base on Wednesday, Halevi reinforced Israel’s military precision and power. “We know how to locate important targets, and we have the means to strike them with accuracy and strength,” Halevi declared. His warning carried a clear message: “We have the capabilities to reach and strike any point in the Middle East. And those of our enemies who have not yet understood this will soon understand.”

Halevi's visit and comments coincided with celebrations for the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, though he emphasized that the Israeli military continues to operate on high alert across all fronts.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu echoed Halevi’s stern message, vowing that Iran "will pay" for its actions following Tuesday's missile strikes. Netanyahu accused Tehran of underestimating Israel's determination to retaliate against those who threaten its security.

These remarks follow the aftermath of an Israeli airstrike in Beirut last Friday, which killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, heightening regional tensions. Netanyahu reminded adversaries that "there is no place in Iran or the Middle East that the long arm of Israel will not reach."
