The protesters had occupied the vacant Rashtrapati Niwas. After this, these people entered the swimming pool and started taking photos and videos from place to place. Later the police evacuated the place by releasing tear gas shells. It is worth noting that the financial condition in Sri Lanka has been very bad for a long time.



Due to this, there has been a shortage from petrol to food items and medicines. The helpless people are demanding the resignation of President Rajapaksa. At the same time, Sri Lanka has appealed to the International Monetary Fund and the international community for help to overcome the ongoing economic crisis in the country.
