Madhya Pradesh Cabinet approves proposal to create cyber tehsil in Madhya Pradesh
After this, MP with cyber tehsil will be the first state in the country.
The cyber tehsil will facilitate the mutation process and people from any corner of the state will be able to take advantage of it.
So the conversion process is going to be convenient in undisputed land cases.
A mutation is when property is sold or transferred, title ownership changes from one person to another.
By modifying the property, the new owner gets the title of the property registered in the name of that person in the land revenue department and the government is able to levy property tax from the rightful owner.
Revenue records kept by civic bodies such as municipalities, panchayats or corporations need to be modified and new owner details updated. Everyone has to do this.
Property registration is a complete and final agreement signed between two parties, the buyer and the seller.
Once the property is registered, it means that the buyer of the property in whose name the property is registered will become the legal owner of the property and will be fully responsible for it in all respects.
Once the property is registered with the Deputy Registrar's Office, the buyer of the property will have to update the title of the property in his name at the local revenue office (municipal or panchayat office).
